Honored at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar pays tribute to BINDER GmbH from Tuttlingen on its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony took place on Friday evening, June 24, in Frankfurt am Main for all medium-sized companies that were awarded the TOP 100 label at the beginning of the year. Science journalist Yogeshwar is mentoring the innovation competition, which is being held for the 29th time. In the scientific selection process, BINDER was particularly convincing in size class C (more than 200 employees) in the category "Innovation-promoting top management".
The TOP 100 company portrait states (excerpt): Climate chambers in which all kinds of materials are subjected to stress tests, battery test chambers for lithium-ion cells, freezers for long-term storage: BINDER's simulation chambers are suitable for a wide variety of applications in scientific and industrial laboratories, for example in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries.
"Innovation is at the core of our growth," says Peter Wimmer, who as a member of the Executive Board is responsible for innovation and product development. "We always want to offer our customers the best products, the best consulting and the best service." As the person responsible for research and development as well as product and quality management, Wimmer often goes to customers himself, as well as to non-customers. "That's often much more interesting, because there I can hear what's good or bad about the competing equipment used by the company. That in turn feeds into our development work." At consumer goods trade shows, he is inspired by new trends, such as large touch displays that can also be used in the simulation cabinets. The fact that all these efforts are paying off is now reflected not least in the Top 100 Award.
