3. We need your personal data for these purposes

We use your personal data to fulfill pre-contractual, contractual or post-contractual and legal obligations (Section 26 BDSG)

We need your personal data if you wish to conclude an employment contract with us or within the framework of legal obligations to which we are subject. We do this in particular to check your application for the vacant position. In the applicant management system, the corresponding input fields are typically marked with a star symbol.

We use your personal data if you give your consent (Section 26 (2) BDSG)

In individual cases, we require your specific consent to process your personal data. In such cases, we either ask you for your consent beforehand and inform you separately (e.g. your application may be considered for a different position than the one for which you have applied), or, as in the applicant management system, the input fields are marked separately (e.g. the question about a notice period) and you then declare your consent by filling in the input field.

We use your personal data based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR)

By using our applicant management system, your IP address is processed by our hoster of the applicant management system (Data Processor) when you access our applicant management system. Without processing your IP address, we would not be able to display the applicant management system in your web browser. Your IP address is briefly stored in the volatile memory of the applicant management system while the website is being transmitted to you; it is then immediately anonymized.

To protect the contents of the applicant management system, you must create an account with a login (user ID, password, email address). Without this, you would not be able to benefit from the advantages of the applicant management system.

4. Your obligation to provide personal data

We can only review your application if you provide us with all the necessary personal data. If you do not wish to do so, we will not be able to review your application. If, in exceptional cases, there is a legal obligation to provide us with your personal data, we will inform you separately in such a case. Personal data that you provide to us as part of your consent is not required.

5. We obtain the personal data from these sources

We process the personal data that we receive from you. In addition, we process personal data that we receive from public portals for establishing business contacts (e.g. LinkedIn), insofar as this is permitted.

6. Your rights

If you would like to know what personal data we have stored about you, we will tell you, because you have a right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR in conjunction with Section 34 BDSG.

If you inform us that personal data is incorrect, we must rectify this personal data. You have a right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR.

You have a right to erasure of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR in conjunction with Section 35 BDSG.

In rare cases (e.g. if it is not clear whether personal data is correct or incorrect or if we would like to delete your personal data but you do not want this), you can request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR.

You have a right to object in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future. If you object to the processing of your personal data, this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on your consent before your objection.

You have a right to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.

If you make use of your rights, this normally costs you nothing. Please contact us in such a case.

If you have a complaint or a question about data protection, please contact us (point 1 above) or our Data Protection Officer (DPO) (point 2 above). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Recipients to whom we disclose your personal data

We use your personal data within the company to fulfill our pre-contractual or legal obligations.

If necessary and permitted or required by law, we will pass on your personal data to third parties or Data Processors. Data Processors process personal data on our behalf and exclusively in accordance with our instructions. Third parties are, for example, authorities.

8. We store your personal data for as short a time as possible

We store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligation or a legal obligation. Your personal data will then be deleted as soon as we no longer need it and no law requires us to continue storing it. Your personal data will not be deleted as long as it is required for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

9. Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the EU or to international organizations. We do not carry out processing based on automated decision-making. We do not engage in profiling (automated processing with the aim of evaluating certain personal aspects).
